Looking for a cheap way to see Japan this summer?

South Korean budget airline Air Seoul’s summer event has us almost packing our bags already.

For ONLY 299,000 won (US$250), a Mint Pass J19 entitles holders to unlimited round trip flights from Incheon International Airport in Seoul to 11 destinations in Japan from June 1st to July 19th.

Valid between June 1st to July 19th, for flights to Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Okinawa, Sapporo, Hiroshima, Yonago, Toyama, Kumamoto, Takamatsu.

While this deal is incredible, of course there are a few conditions. While using the Mint Pass:

  1. All flights must be round-trips originating from Incheon International Airport (easy!)
  2. Flights on June 6th (Korean War Memorial Day) and July 15th (Japanese Marine Day) are off-limits.
  3. Flights arriving in Seoul on Sundays are also off limits (a bummer, but you can make it work!)
  4. the Mint Pass J19 does not cover fuel surcharges or airport fees. This can tack on an additional 30,000 to 40,000 won per trip, but it’s a small price to pay for unlimited flights.

And that’s it! Don’t hesitate to buy this pass for too long though. The Mint Pass J19 will no longer be available for purchase online after June 12th. The directions to purchase this pass are in Korean, but if you can speak Korean or grab a friend, the process is pretty easy!
