Check out These Frankly Incredible Southeast Asia Travel Deals

Summer typically is synonymous with vacations, but these past few months have definitely been an exception. The coronavirus has no doubt dashed countless travel plans, and if you’ve been stuck at home for a while, you’re probably itching to get out. Luckily, these two resorts in Southeast Asia have the perfect discounted travel packages for you! If you’re willing to take the risk of traveling, know that each location has taken preventive measures to maintain hygienic conditions in the wake of Covid-19.

Melia Koh Samui | Koh Samui, Thailand

If you’re in the mood for a stunning beachfront resort, then take a flight to Thailand and unwind at the gorgeous Hotel Melia Koh Samui. The resort, which opened January 10 of this year, boasts a lagoon pool that loops through its grounds like a river, suites made from teak wood vessels (paying homage to Koh Samui’s heritage as a safe haven for sailors and sea traders), and various amenities such as a swim-up bar, spa, ballroom, and mini water park.

Each Deluxe Room has a stand-alone bathtub on a private balcony. The KoKo Kitchen features a live-show kitchen where you can watch chefs whip up a delicious breakfast buffet every morning. The other restaurants in the resort focus on contemporary Thai dishes and Western and Mediterranean cuisines, like The Pool Bar, which serves Spanish tapas.

Although a Deluxe Room with breakfast will typically set you back around THB 6,768 (US$216) per night, they are offering it in a fantastic travel package at THB 3,999 (US$127) per night, including a free round-trip transfer for a two-night stay or longer. For seven nights, this totals around US$891; for two weeks, US$1783.

For those concerned about Covid-19, Melia Koh Samui has implemented a system of stringent health, safety, and hygiene measures developed in collaboration with the certification, inspection, and testing company Bureau Veritas and are based on World Health Organization recommendations. The “360 degree” program focuses on strict cleaning and disinfection practices, minimizing physical contact between guests and staff, ensuring the safety of food and beverage, and more

Thailand will be resuming international flight operations from July 1. This deal extends to travels from now until December 23, 2020, if you book by June 30.
