1. St. Patrick’s Day Festival Korea and Official IAK Hooley

 

St. Patrick’s Day’s celebrations will move into full swing on March 15th with the Irish Association of Korea’s ‘St.Patrick’s Day Festival Korea’ set to take place in the D-Cube Plaza located at Sindorim Station. Festivities will kick off at 12 pm going until 6 pm with live music, traditional folk-dancers, and events for all-ages. After 6 pm, the festivities will continue at the Rocky Mountain Tavern with the IAK Official Hooley. Tickets for the IAK Hooley will be KRW 10,000 and will be available at the festival and at the door.

 

 

2. Dublin Terrace

 

For the truly courageous, Dublin Terrace will be having an all you can drink Guinness special for only W40,000 on the 15th. This includes three side snacks to keep you upright, at least for a little while. The Ultimate Guinness Draft Specials runs from 6 pm to 11 pm so get there early. That’s five hours to test whether or not all of life’s problems can be solved by alcohol, my guess is that they can.

 

 

3. Wolfhound Pub

 

Starting things early this year with a four-day St. Paddy’s Day extravaganza filled with drink specials available all weekend. The weekend kicks off on Friday with a performance by the Irish punk band, “Boxty Rebellion” at 11 pm followed by the “Parade Day Party” on Saturday, live acoustic music on Sunday from 6 pm, and more live music on Monday starting at 4 pm. Expect drink specials, green-themed celebrations, and a sense of wonder and raw amazement as you pass an entire weekend under an alcoholic haze.

 

 

4. Maloney’s Pub

 

Three day event from Friday the 15th to the 17th with discounted Jameson, W4,000 green beers, W7,000 Guinnesses, and the obligatory daily specials. Expect crowds on Saturday for lamb stew and live music from 2 pm to 11 pm. Also, for those who are fashionably inclined to dress up like Gumby or She-Hulk, they will be giving away a bottle of Jameson to the person wearing the most green clothing. For those who miss their first performance, the “Boxty Rebellion” will bringing Irish punk to stage here on the 16th.

 

5. Bull & Barrel

 

Hosting their second annual Irish Hooley on March 15th, B & B will have specials on Guinness, shots of Jameson, “car bombs,” Jello shots, and plenty of other drinks to fill your glasses. There will be live music from 7 pm and live-streaming of the Ireland vs. France rugby match at 2 am for some late night action. Irish staples, calconnon and lamb stew, will be on the menu so come hungry.

 

 

6. Craftworks Taphouse

 

A nice laid-back traditional Irish meal of Corned Beef, traditional Irish Toppings and their Seorak Oatmeal Stout for W26,000. The seats for this St. Patrick’s Day only feast are limited so reservations are necessary.

 

 

7. Sam Ryans Sports Bar and Grill

 

Sam Ryan’s Sports Bar & Grill is throwing their St. Patrick’s Day: Long Weekend from March 15th to 17th with green beer along with a list of drinks at KRW 1,000 off. Plus, Irish punk band, “Boxty Rebellion,” will be making another appearance at 7:30 pm on the 16th. A night of fun, green beer, and Irish punk await at Sam Ryan’s.
