It’s that time of year again! Seoul Plaza has magically transformed into a temporary winter wonderland, with an ice skating rink that will stay open until February 9. Rug up and head down to Seoul’s premier outdoor skating rink. No need to panic if you’re a newbie, there are two separate rinks available: one for kids and beginners, and one for advanced skaters or those who feel like they’re ready to graduate. Likewise, keep an eye out for training sessions and special events on offer throughout winter.
Seoul Plaza offers one of the city’s cheapest days out on the ice at just W1, 000 an hour. The entry price covers not only access to the rink, but also skate hire and optional helmet rental. Ice skaters should remember to wear gloves at all times while out on the rink. For those who don’t feel like hitting the ice, there’s plenty of opportunity to recharge your batteries with delightful rest areas on offer.
Enjoy an outdoor skate in the middle of downtown Seoul this winter – the perfect reason to get outside and make the most of sunny winter days.
