On February 1st, at Dinette, a lovely diner in Kyunglidan, beauty brand Soak Lifestyle (run by CEO Judy Kim) hosted their first Blogger’s Brunch and invited 10 Magazine to join.

With the mission of networking and brand promotion, Soak, a Seoul based company focused on making Korean beauty & wellness mainstream, invited some of Korea’s top foreigner influencers as well as beauty and health brands I’m Meme (by Memebox) and Kaja, Wishtrend (Klairs), Bemused, Melixir, Knockout and Brewguru to a brunch event.

While a “Blogger’s Brunch” are more popular in large Western cities, Soak Lifestyle’s is one of the first for Seoul. Seeing Korean-based global influencers all together for the best meal of the day (brunch lovers, put your hands up!) interacting together shows a great future for female influencers who are building their own brands. English influencers included Angelina Danilova, Joan Kim, Angel Kim, Gina Panozzo, and Gemma Wardle of AFatGirlsFoodGuide.

At the same time, learning about vegan-based Korean skincare brand Melixir and the English-speaking online and offline exercise class startup Knockout were real highlights.

Besides a delicious brunch, all in attendance went home with goodies from the skincare brands, and coupons for workout and craft classes with the encouragement to come together.
