Wolmae Nejumak is a makgeolli bar hidden in the heart of Gangnam. It’s one cozy place always bustling with people determined to enjoy their night out. A wide variety of dishes and drinks are available so that everyone will find something to fit their taste. It could also be a great option for your second or third round of drinks, as the place is open late into the night.
Menu
The menu contains a large variety of both foods and, of course, drinks, with prices going from KRW 4,000 to 25,000. For an authentic experience, we recommend you try some makgeolli, together with jeon /pancake (kimchi pancake – 김치전, seafood pancake – 해물파전, assortment of pancakes – 모듬전 etc.) or Korean tofu (두부김치). Have a look at their full menu here.

How to get there
Get off at Gangnam Station (Line 2 or Sinbundang Line) Exit 11, then go straight until you can turn right (by the New Balance store). After you turn, keep walking until you see the name of the place (월매네주막) on your left. The place is in the basement, so you’ll have to go down the stairs.
