EF Seoul Curriculum
EF’s programs range from 2-52 weeks, and they have four Seoul courses to choose from. They guarantee that you will advance one level every six weeks if you attend all your classes and do all your assignments: if you don’t, they promise that you can study for free until you do.
EF Intensive Course
Make maximum progress during your stay abroad. Highly recommended for students who need to learn a language as quickly as possible for academic or professional reasons.
Their highly structured syllabus, comprised of 32 morning and afternoon lessons a week (total tuition time of 21 hours and 20 minutes), will have you speaking and writing with confidence in the least amount of time. The general language lessons build your grammar and vocabulary, while project sessions improve your research and communication skills through practical work tailored to your interests.
Their Intensive Course offers the maximum number of Special Interest Lessons, to ensure you successfully achieve your goals while studying abroad. Because these are taught both in class and online, you can take SPIN Lessons focused on language skills, professional development, exam or university preparation, or culture and arts.
EF General Course
This carefully composed course of 26 weekly lessons (total tuition time of 17 hours and 20 minutes), held in the morning and afternoon, is designed to help you move up one course level every six weeks. The general language lessons build your grammar and vocabulary, while project sessions improve your research and communication skills through practical work tailored to your interests.
You’ll also benefit from 4 Special Interest Lessons, which focus your studies on the subjects you enjoy and help you reach your academic goals – whether it’s your destination’s culture or preparing for an official exam.
EF Basic Course
Combine plenty of free time abroad with 20 morning and afternoon language lessons a week (total tuition time of 13 hours and 20 minutes) – combining General Language Lessons, Project Sessions and Lecture Sessions.This course concentrates on understanding and speaking the language in practical situations. You’ll benefit from comprehensive materials, personalized instruction and interactive class time.
EF Junior Course – General
These courses provide an ideal learning environment for younger students aged 13-15 who want to make maximum progress with 20 language lessons a week. Focus on communicating clearly in everyday situations by building competency through conversation, accuracy through exercises and confidence in a friendly environment.
The junior courses are designed with a program personalized to the needs of younger learners. Whether you travel abroad independently or in an escorted group – curriculum, accommodation, activities and excursions are part of an all inclusive package.

Accommodation and Activities
EF can set you up with a local family for a homestay, or you can stay at their residence if they have one. The EF Activities Manager will also set you up with things to do in the city.

The EF International Language Campus in Seoul is located in Gangnam’s K-Tower. It’s surrounded by shops, restaurants, and cafes and has easy access to public transportation to explore the city. The campus is also a one minute walk from Sinsa Station.
