The Foreign Bookstore is a hidden gem in the heart of Itaewon, Seoul, that has a rich forty year history of selling foreign books in the area. The shop sells a variety of English and foreign books, such as novels and magazines. The walls are lined with numerous titles and authors, some dating back to the late 20th Century.Owner Choi Ki-Woong established the store in the 1960s, by collecting leftover magazines and novels from U.S Army Base dumpsters. Now, it continues to thrive and sell quality second-hand books to its eager customers.
