
YBM Korean Language Institute (YBM KLI) is an institute that teaches Korean, located in Jongno, Sinchon, and Gangnam. They are the largest educational center in Korea and publish numerous books, magazines, and other publications related to learning English, Japanese, and Korean language and culture. Their Korean language program opened in 1993.
YBM’s instructors wrote new textbooks with modern communicative Korean in mind. Currently there are around 10 teachers who are committed to teaching using the most up-to-date and effective methods available. All classes use the Sogang Korean textbooks. Class offerings vary based on which YBM campus you will be on.
Intensive Class
This class meets from Mondays to Thursdays at either 10 am-12:50 pm or 2-4:50pm. The class can accommodate levels 1-6.
Regular Course
This class meets three times a week, either Mon/Wed/Fri or Tues/Thurs/Friday. There are four time slots available: 11am-12:50pm, 1-2:50pm, 3-4:50pm, and 7-8:50pm. The class can accommodate levels 1-6.
Saturday Course
This class meets only on Saturdays, either from 10am-12:50pm or 2-4:50pm. The class can accommodate levels 1-6.
TOPIK II
This class meets three times a week, either Mon/Wed/Fri or Tues/Thurs/Friday, either from 3-4:50pm or from 7-8:50pm. The class can accommodate levels 3-6.
Korean Drama
This class meets twice a week on Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs from 3-4:50pm. The class can accommodate levels 5-6.
General Speaking
This class meets twice a week on Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs, either from 3-4:50pm or from 7-8:50pm. This class can accommodate levels 3-4.
Pronunciation Class
This class meets on Fridays from 3-4:50pm. It can accommodate levels 1-6.
Advanced Class
This class meets twice a week on Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs from 3-4:50pm. This class is only for students above level 6.
Private Course
This class allows students to learn with flexible times and schedules with an individual instructor. Classes are offered from Monday-Saturday but Saturday classes cost a little more.

TOPIK I, II
This class meets three times a week on Mon/Wed/Fri or Tues/Thurs/Fri from either 5:30-7:20pm or 7:30-9:20pm. TOPIK I is for students at level 1-2, and TOPIK II is for students at levels 3-6.
Saturday Course
This class meets on Saturdays from 10am-12:50pm. This course is suitable for all levels.
Let’s Speak KOREAN

This class is offered on Saturdays from 10am-12:50pm. This class is suitable for students above level 3.
Business Korean
This class is twice a week on Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs. There are two time slots available: 10-11:50am and 7-8:50pm. This is for students above level 5.
Saturday Business Class
This class is offered on Saturdays from 10am-12:50pm. The class is suitable for students above levels 5 or 6.
Private Korean Class
This class is for students with schedules that don’t match regular classes. Prior to registration, you must make an appointment for a meeting with the teacher and you must register for more than 4 classes per month. Private Korean classes on any weekday can be on a 1:1 or 1:2 format. If you register for both a regular class and a 1:1 private class in the same month, then you can get a 20% discount for each 1:1 private class time.

YBM KLI Jongno:

Subway: Jongno 3-ga Station (Line 1) Exit 15. When you are at the street level, you will be able to see the YBM center building, a five-story building that has “YBM Jongno center” in large letters on the top. It is opposite to the Topgol Park.

Subway: Sinchon Station (Line 2) Exit 4. The building is located approximately 100 meters away.
YBM KLI Gangnam:

Subway: Gangnam Station (Line 2) Exit 11 is a 30-second walk away. Sinnonhyeon Station (Line 9) Exit 5 is a 5-minute walk away.
