Myeongdong Cathedral is one of the oldest church in Korea and as the birthplace of the Catholic church community, it has become a symbol of presence of the Catholic church in Korea. It is also the cathedral church for the Archdiocese of Seoul.
Myeongdong Cathedral holds a mass in English every Sunday at 9:00am and an English confession before the Sunday mass.
