Seobinggo is a wonderful stop if you are ever in the Anguk/Gyeongbukgung area. This cafe has about 10 table spaces and the usual hipster offerings of coffee drinks and Korean Kinfolk magazines.
However, the bingsu is absolutely standout. Fine milk ice flakes topped with a landslide amount of honeyed adzuki bean paste, sliced almonds, a soft mugwort mochi bits make this a very complex and deliciously satisfying dessert.
The matcha flavor is very light in this dessert and the many complementary toppings add dynamic taste to the sweetened ice flakes.
The bingsu here are also served in bright copper buckets to which are very lovely to look at but beware the fast melt!
Injeolmi, Original Red Bean, and Season flavor bingsu available as well.
