Allchan Kimchi jjigae – easy location

Allchan Kimchijjigae is just off the main Itaewon road, at only around a 5-minute walk from Blue Square Hall. Exit from Hangangjin Station (exit 3) instead of Itaewon!

Mix up from the usual kimchi stew ingredients

Instead of the usual pork-belly kimchi stew, the kimchi stew here is served with fresh ribs and scorched rice in a metal pot (누룽지 가마솥밥) to be eaten as an after meal scorched rice tea, sungnyung,  after adding hot boiled water. It will definite leaves you with a new experience of eating Kimchijjigae like you never did before. Of course, not only that menu is offered, but they also have Dumpling Kimchi Stew and Bossam (보쌈) as well. All of which is a perfect meal for a cold-weather day!
