Seoul Botanic Park is a newly built botanic park and the largest in the country. It opened on October 11th, 2018, while still ongoing construction and expansion of their plant collection. The grand opening was on May 1st, 2019. The 504,000 square meters botanic park has indoor and outdoor sections featuring a greenhouse, forests, a lake and a wetland. The botanic park has around 3,100 plant species, with both Korean indigenous species and species coming from all over the world. The indoor space, built in the shape of a glass dome, is the go-to place for beautiful shots and gets a lot of features on Instagram.
Running hours
Open every day of the year. The outdoor park is open 24 hours a day for free.Indoor Park:
Main season (March-October): 9:30 am ~ 6 pm (Last admission 5 pm)
Winter season (November-February): 9:30 am ~ 5 pm (Last admission 4 pm)
Entrance Fee
Adults: 5,000 won
Teenagers (between 13-18 years old): 3,000 won
Children (between 6 and 12 years old): 2,000 won
