Tastes of the World at Dwight School Seoul

Children’s day on May 5th is a big day in Korea. Nationally, festivals are filled with kids. However, if it was not enough for your kids, it is not yet to be disappointed.

From 10 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon, “Tastes of the World” will be held at Dwight School Seoul on Saturday, May 13th. Open to public, there will be a Flea Market, Jumping Castles, Games, Indoor Jungle Gym (age 2 – 7), Arts & Craft, Book Fair, Meet the Dwight School Teachers, and School Tours. The most exciting part not to be missed would be the tasty international foods, as the event’s name suggest. 17 countries are being represented on this day.

The diverse foods, mostly prepared by international parents are available for affordable prices compared to other places in Korea. Surrounded by people from all over the world, you can experience beautiful cultures, trying different tastes. You might feel like you travel around the world in one spot.

A variety of games and activities are included with the purchase of a bracelet for 10,000 won. For children under age 7 can also enjoy the Indoor Jungle Gym in safe, padded, and secure gym environment. The School Tour (11am and 1pm) will start from the lobby and the registration will be available in the administration table throughout the day.

At the Lucky Draw station, you can buy 3 chances for 10,000 won. Over 250 prizes are donated by 40 major corporate sponsors. In addition, Unlucky Draw prizes (for those who drawn no prizes in 3 chances) are prepared as well. At Tombola station (Lucky Draw for children), 500 big and small toy prizes are available for a chance for 2,000 won and a prize is given to every participant.

All the proceeds from the Spring Fair will be donated to build new playground. Parking is free at DMC Hi-Tech Industry Center.
