With a magnitude of 7.8, death toll of 8,844, and injuries numbering 22,307…we all remember the deadly earthquake that struck Nepal on April 25th, 2014. To aid in relief efforts and honor the memory of those fallen, there will be a Nepal earthquake relief photo exhibition at the Seoul Global Cultural Center’s Haechi Hall, located on the 5th floor of the Myeongdong M-Plaza, from August 3 – 7.
The exhibition, titled “Appearance in Nepal — Thank You! Nepal,” will feature beautiful images of Nepal and its citizens before the earthquake to not only highlight the quake’s tragically destructive effects, but also portray hope of rebuilding and healing the country. Attendees will also have the chance to make donations to relief funds, either directly or via purchases of postcards of the photos exhibited, as well as write messages for those grieving.
The photo exhibition is free to attend (although, of course, donations are highly encouraged), and open from 11 am to 7 pm. Visit the Seoul Global Cultural Center’s Facebook event page for details.
