Korean aestheticism is usually easy to encounter but difficult to experience. If you are tired of only looking at displays, Mato Festival is the perfect opportunity to take part in diverse types of Korean arts. The festival is split into four major areas: the art market, the experience zone, the performance zone, and the food item zone. In the art market, there will be artworks for sale and Korean artists to aid you in creating art pieces. Here, pottery-making will be offered for free! The experience zone has activities according to the festival’s theme for both Koreans and foreigners. On top of that, various performances will take place in a special zone. You can sign up to perform, too! Last but not least, Korean traditional tea and cookies will be available along with other foods in the food item zone. Don’t miss out in this unique festival on September 27 in Paengseong!
