Makgeolli Making Class at Itaewon Global Village Center

On Friday July 25th, 10 am -12 pm, the Itaewon Global Village Center will hold a Makgeolli making class. This class has been loved by foreign residents. Makgeolli is an alcoholic beverage which originated in Korea. It’s made from rice which gives it a milky off-white color and a somewhat sweet taste. It is made by fermenting boiled rice, water, and yeast, and it has usually about 6% to 8% alcohol content.

Through the class, you will have a chance to make your own Makkeoli that you can bring home.

The participation fee for the program is W10,000. You can sign up in person at the center or by phone or email.
