Tod Machover has been called “America’s most wired composer” by the Los Angeles Times and is widely recognized as the “Grandfather of Guitar Hero” (the video game). A Professor of Music and Media and the MIT Media Lab since its inception in 1985, Mr. Machover has collaborated with Yo-Yo Ma, Prince and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He was also a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize in Music. You can see his TED Talk speech in the video below.
