If health is your priority when choosing brunch foods, Root is the ideal place for you. This small restaurant is located on the second floor and a huge avocado by the entrance gives you a hint of the main ingredient used in their dishes. Root is an airy cafe offering deliciously healthy salad power bowls and few creative veggie options like vegan sushi and toast with toppings.
If you are an avocado lover, Root will satisfy your healthy taste buds. They focus on on fresh, healthy salad bowls and uses the freshest avocados which are expensive and hard to find in Korea. Their Green Bowl comes with chicken, kale, romaine, avocado, cherry tomato, parmesan cheese, lemon, and caesar dressing. They also sell yogurt with granola and fresh juices. The price is also fairly affordable compared to the quality of the ingredients that they use.
For those who aren’t a fan of the raw or smoked salmon frequent in the Korean salads, Root has a wholesome cooked salmon steak salad bowl that comes with a healthy portion of fish and three different types of greens and cabbage to add textural dimension.
This cafe is also very popular with those who dietary restrictions or special diets, the staff happily swap out one of the set bowls many toppings for a different ingredient!
