The Xef Gastro Pub is a new Spanish restaurant that opened just December of last year. Owned by Spanish Chef Manuel Manzano, the Xef is most famous for its Special Menu, which constantly changes depending on the freshest ingredients that Chef Manzano hand-picks from the market.
Chef Manzano was raised in Barcelona and worked as a caterer, personal chef, and restaurant consultant in Korea until recently. His authentic Spanish dishes are well-liked by both Korean and Spanish customers.
The Special Menu thus far has ranged from seafood paella, hanwoo (한우) steak with red wine sauce, monkfish stew, and clam with white wine sauce – each day dependent on the freshest ingredients available at the market.
