Zero Waste Seorae

Created in 2018, Zero Waste Seorae ZWS) aims to gather citizens around Seorae village on green values and to create a green neighborhood which can lead as a role model in Seoul. Following the polluting environment due to modern lifestyle, they seek to create a sustainable environment viable for the next generation. They believe that all efforts, big and small have a positive impact and intends to act locally by changing daily gestures to improve the quality of life. Their goals include:

• To inform and inspire people about consumption and waste management
• To reduce plastic consumption and single use items
• To reduce plastic bag use in local shops
• To work closely with decision makers and shop owners.
