Club Avenue 535 Gangnam: Apgujeong’s Home for Club Party Events

Formerly known as Club Answer, Club Avenue 535 Gangnam in it’s current incarnation is new to the Gangnam clubbing scene. Avenue welcomes all types, foreign and domestic, so if you’re new to Korean clubs this is a good place to start. The club puts on live electronic events and big name DJs on a regular basis. They’re one of the few clubs to have a steady stream of partnered events, including those held by YouTube, giveaways by Beats, fire shows, and a host of other promotions. It’s also one of the few clubs that’s open every day of the week. The dress code is what you might expect for upscale Apgujeong. No slippers, flip flops, shorts, jogging suits, etc.

Music and Atmosphere: EDM & Hip Hop in Gangnam-gu, Seoul

The club is divided into EDM and hip hop sections. The interior is a mash of classic decor, replete with marble floors and chandeliers. There is also a state-of-the-art lighting and gigantic display screens over the main stage. It’s a big space, and the musically it’s a bit of a mixed bag, with an emphasis on electro. They continually draw the best international and domestic DJ’s, including Paul Van Dyke, Benny Bennasi, Dr. Drill, and Day Walker.

Location

From Apgujeong Rodeo Station (Bundang Line): Go straight out of exit 2 and walk for a while on Apgujeong-ro until you come to the intersection with Dosan dae-ro. Take a left on Dosan dae-ro, walk another four (big) blocks, Club Avenue will be on your left, directly across the main road from Premium Hotel.

Fridays and Saturdays, 9:00 pm to 6:00 am

Entrance Fee

The entrance fee to the club is 30,000 won, (includes one free drink)
