Performativity is the first exhibition of its kind for Crazy Multiply, a Seoul-based art curator, as it is both a collaborative and nomadic effort with Cardiff-based art collective, tactileBOSCH. Participating artists from South Korea and the United Kingdom are featured at WWW SPACE in Mangwon under the supervision of Crazy Multiply, and at a reciprocated exhibition in the UK in November under the supervision of tactileBOSCH. The collaboration will be archived digitally via a live feed & on their website.
This exhibition will focus on the performative aspects of the roles that women take on throughout their lives. Expressing the issue through a subversive and critical lens, artists will explore femininity and identity within and beyond the limits and expectations of the patriarchal society. Artwork to be exhibited will range from painting, photography, performance, installation, video, and illustration.
