Jeonju, a city south of Seoul, is famous for all kinds of foods, but especially for bibimbap. The dish consisting of rice mixed with various vegetables and meat is a staple to Korean food.
If you’re a bibimbap lover, make your way to the Jeonju Bibimbap Festival this October to taste all the city has to offer. There will be programs such as cooking classes, a Hanok village stamp tour, Jeonju food and tableware exhibitions, busking and parades. You can learn all about the history of bibimbap while visiting Jeonju Hanok Village!
For updated program information, check out their English website here.
Free! You can expect to pay for classes, food, and other expenses though.
