Taebaeksan Mountain Snow Festival

Taebaeksan Mountain, a sacred site for many Korean locals, will be sculpting beautiful ice displays that could warm anyone’s heart this coming winter. During the festival, the mountain will host many icy visitors, who are the perfect addition to your next family photo. Guests are encouraged to rug up and come and enjoy the many activities surrounding the mountain, including the Taebaeksan Mountain Snowflake Hiking Competition, an Igloo Café, ice fountain, snow sliding, a starlight festival and much more.

How to get there

By Bus:From Dong Seoul Bus Terminal, take an intercity bus to Taebaek. From Taebaek Bus Terminal, take a bus bound for Danggol and get off at Taebaeksan Provincial Park.Hwangji Pond is a 10-min walk from the Taebaek Bus Terminal.
