This year marks the 11th anniversary of the Seoul Lantern Festival, which means it’s all the more reason to put on your coat and go to take a look at some of the most beautiful lights in town! This year, the lanterns will present the theme of “Your Seoul, Light Through Dream”, and separated under four subcategories, “Seoul, Your Fairytail”, “Seoul, Find Your Fairytail”, “Seoul, Old Tales Come Alive” and “Seoul, Our Fairytail Land”. At the seventeen-day festival, guests have the opportunity to take in the beautiful lantern displays, make their own traditional style lantern, fly a paper lantern play around on a scratchboard and catch a glimpse of the nightly light shows.
