The Boseong Tea Plantation is a popular tourist attraction located in the South Jeolla Province of Korea. It is the only tourist tea plantation in Korea and encompasses 5,000,000㎡ of land with amazing green tea fields. Beautiful trees and walking paths cover the land, so you can not only enjoy the smell of the tea leaves, but also the scenery. You can stop by their Tea Plantation Observatory, Yew Forest, Maple Forst, Bamboo Forest, and more. There are five hiking courses for anyone that wants to enjoy the amazing views. Every May, the plantation hosts its annual Boseong Green Tea Festival, where you can partake in a variety of tea events such as a ritual to the Tea God to pray for good harvests, tea leaf-picking, making tea, and tea ceremonies.
This plantation has also been a popular shooting ground for K-dramas in the past.
