Within the Gudeurae region lies a well-developed sculpture park that is equipped with various restaurants that serve delicious regional cuisines, and a total of 59 creative sculptures for public viewing. While 30 of these sculptures were handed down from artists dating back to the Baekje Period, the other 29 pieces were from Korean and overseas artists who have participated in the well-known International Modern Sculpture Symposium that took place in 1999. These sculptures deliver both a sense of beauty that reflects the region’s history and modern art.
