Busan International Film Festival (BIFF 광장) Square

Named after major renovations were made following the first Busan International Film Festival on August 14, 1996, BIFF Square is a district in Nampo-dong which has been turned into a cultural tourist attraction to promote Korea’s film industry. BIFF Square is divided into ‘Star street’ and ‘Festival street’ and close to popular tourist attractions in Busan.

BIFF square is bustling with movie theaters, delicious street food, shops, leisure facilities, hand prints of famous Korean actors and more. There is more than enough to eat and you won’t run out of places to take photos. The streets are also popularly known for events such as the popular Busan International Film Festival and other festivals.

How To Get There

  • From Jagalchi station (Busan subway line 1), get out from exit 7.
  • Walk straight for 5 min from the station and turn left).
