Aqua Planet Jeju

Aqua Planet Jeju has 3 whole floors dedicated to its aquarium. Not only do they have one big aquarium. They have multiple with various different themes. Their goal is to “publicize the proposition of ‘preservation of ecosystem’ and to spread the ‘values of marine culture’ by showing the public diverse facets of the marine ecosystem that are not readily accessible in everyday life”.

  • Ocean Arena: Shows its stars dolphins, sea lions, and seals perform daily with some synchronized swimmers
  • Traditional Jeju: Haenyeo women showcase their skills in the main tank
  • Marine Science: Interesting and educational facts are exhibited for children and adults to further their knowledge
  • Ecology lessons: Get to know some of the animals ecology facts in fun feeding time presentations
