Chungnam National University (CNU) Language Education Center

Chungnam Language Education Center (CLEC) is located in the city of Daejeon and offers different regular Korean language programs to international students all year round: spring, summer, fall and winter programs, 4 hours a day in the morning or afternoon.

Class Schedule

• Morning – 9:00-9:50, 10:00-10:50, 11:00-11:50, 12:00-12:50
• Afternoon – 9:00-9:50, 10:00-10:50, 11:00-11:50, 12:00-12:50

Evening Korean Class

CLEC hosts a special evening program 2 times a year for adults with no prior knowledge of Korean language interested in acquiring communication skills for everyday life or business in Korea.

• Eligibility: A high school diploma or equivalent
• Application Process: You can register at the Registration office(room 103) at Chungnam National University or call 042-821-8817

The CNU Language Education Center provides various cultural programs in which students can experience real Korean life and better understand Korea’s past, present and future through diverse experiences: visiting historic sites, learning Korean traditional songs, Taekwondo, Pansori, Korean traditional dance, and calligraphy. CLEC also administers its own Korean proficiency test (TOPIK).
