Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST)
Established in 1971, KAIST was founded to support and contribute to the industrialization economic plan. KAIST focuses on fostering a learning environment with access to resources in science and technology. The university supports and encourages faculty research and provides opportunities for students to collaborate with faculty and each other to learn through hands on experiences.
KAIST College of Business is located on a forested slope in the northeastern part of Seoul, about 100 miles from the main campus of KAIST. Reflecting the natural science and engineering trade of KAIST, the College of Business focuses on management education and technology. KAIST pursues the “Korean Management” strategy by combining Korean business characteristics within an international business mindset.
