Bulguksa Temple is the representative relic of Gyeongju and was designated as a World Cultural Asset by UNESCO in 1995. The beauty of the temple itself and the artistic touch of the stone relics are known throughout the world.
The Temple Stay program offered at Bulguksa allows participants the opportunity to learn about Buddhist culture during the Silla kingdom. The experiential program consists of activities such as morning chants, Chameseon (Zen Meditation), and Dado (Tea Ceremony). The relaxation program allows participants to be more flexible in making adjustments to their schedules, with the exception of pre-scheduled Buddhist services. The temple stay residence is located just outside the main temple.
