Bears Town Resort

Bears Town Resort is a Seoul suburban ski resort that has advanced leisure culture. It takes about 50 minutes from Seoul. This one has a fair bit of variety. The surrounding neighborhood features local hot springs and some great country-style restaurants, but there are most definitely no bear sightings.

Ski

Total 11 slopes including International Ski Federation (FIS)’s official approval slope, Challenger 88, with 8 cable lifts transporting 15,200 skiers per hour. The lessons are available in multiple languages starting from Starter level 1, 2 to Intermediate level to High level. Families with children can enjoy Sled in the 400-meter-wide Sledding Slope.

The price per night varies due to high and low season, but approximately it starts from ~190,000 up to ~350,000.

How to get there

The hotels offer a shuttle bus service that will pick you up from various stations in Seoul and its vicinity. The price for the round trip is $9 and the price for one-way is $5. Some of the stations are Hongik University Station, City Hall Station, Seoul Station, and Hapjeong Station. The timetable of the bus varies from season to season, depending on the demand.
