Korea Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (KOTESOL) teams up with the Korea Association of Foreign Languages Education (KAFLE) to bring you a weekend filled with lectures and workshops based around the theme of, “Embracing Change: Blazing New Frontiers through Language Teaching.” The conference will be prefaced by a series of hands-on workshops with some of the top language learning experts. These workshops will be held on October 3, from 10 am – 6 pm with the lectures beginning on October 4. The keynote speaker for the conference will be Michael Long from the Center for Advanced Study of Language, and he will be discussing “interaction, creativity, and acquisition in the L2 classroom.” He will be joined by about twenty other plenary and featured speakers who are eager to share their thoughts and expertise on topics ranging from, “Understanding language variation for language teaching,” to “Young learners as content-creators: New media in TESOL.”

  • 50,000 Korean Won (Members; expiration date on or after October 31, 2014)
  • 75,000 Korean Won (Non-members)
  • 25,000 Korean Won (Undergraduate students with valid ID)

Friday Workshop Price:

  • 45,000 won Members (KOTESOL or KAFLE; membership must expire on or after October 31, 2014)
  • 100,000 won Non-members
