Newly reopened Gangnam bar and venue Chungdam Il Mak (청담 1막) offers a different kind of purely Korean drinking experience. Premium Makgeolli is hand-selected through a makkeolli sommelier system, which the restaurant-cum-bar developed itself. Served along with the rice brew is a live music schedule of the hottest new Korean underground jazz, alternative, classic and indie artists. Moreover, the bar’s glass dome ceiling and interior bring out the best in the music venue’s atmosphere. Live performances run Monday through Wednesday at 10 pm and Saturday at 9 pm.
